He is in time out!
Well i start putting my boy to time out right now. I really try my best to let him know that if he wont listen to me he will be put to time out. he cry at first and try to call me and ask some hug but i have to tell him that i cannot give him a hug because he is in time out because he dont listen to me. he then try to ask me some milk. he will really do everything for me to pick him up and comfort him. well it did not really work.. he is in time out.
He learn i think. I put him to time out today not only once but i think almost 10 times. yeah it is that much. everytime he hit me or wont listen to me i wil then put him to 2 minutes time out and try to talk to him. I will then hug him after 2 minutes and try to let him ask sorry to me which he always do. Now, everytime i put him to time out, he will cry and say I sorry mommy, of course it breaks my heart and want to come to him and hugged. I do tell him that he is forgiven but he still need to finished his 2 minutes time out. It is not really easy to train a kid especially if its your first time. I tell you elijah is such a sweet boy but sometimes he is really uncontrollable. well he is two years old and i think this is the reason why here in america they have what they called terrible Two's :)
Very Tired,..
Ohh boy I am sure tired. I am just done cleaning our kitchen and cleaning the floor too. well i really try my best to clean our house and have it ready for the new years to come. tommorrow i have to tackle the rest of our laundry and will do some grocery shopping and buy some foods to cook for us to eat at new years eve dinner. greg will make his pot roast beef my favorite and also he ask me to make a pansit for him..hehheh there will be so much food on our table that time. So far nobody called me to have a new years eve party..hehehhehe well it was ate jen who used to call me and invited me to their house at new years eve and try to kill the time will waiting for the clock to strike 12.but since they went to florida this year and some of my friend are out of town too, so i guess i just have to stay at home and spent time with my family on new years eve.I am sure my son will sleep early.. I will just maybe ask greg to stay awake with me until 12. I want to have a worship as a family when the clock strike to 12 and Thank God for giving us another new year..i dont know what else we gonna do after that..maybe greet each other a happy new year and sleep. I try to make some games for us to do as a family and I hope elijah will have fun too..ohh well that's the plan...I am sure you friends are so busy too preparing your house and everything for the new year to come. well i just wish all a good new year to come and hope our year 2008 will bring us so much blessing and happiness.

I am an afternoon person, how about you?
| You Are an Afternoon Person |
![]() You can find energy any time of the day ... or night! You prefer to be out and about when most other people are. Very early mornings or very late nights aren't really your thing. You're practically solar powered, and the afternoon is when do best. |
Are You a Morning Person or Night Person?
Hahaha I am an afternoon person. I thought i would be a morning person. I am definitely not a night person. if i wil stay up late, my day the following day is certainly not good. so i rather spent my night sleeping, acting lazy when i woke up and start doing things in the afternoon. the answer of this survey is so really true. I am an afternoon person for i always start doing things that includes moving such as cleaning the house and etc in the afternoon. I do spent my time in the morning sitting infront of my computer and be lazy..duh no wonder why my butt is so flatt for i do so much sitting that working everyday.

need some potty training tips..
will somebody please tell me what did you do to teach your kids how to use the bathroom?. boy i have been trying to let elijah know that every time he go popo he need to go to the bathroom and pooped there. but what the, it seems that he dont really understand me for just today, he come to me and handed me a piece of popo in his hand. of course it was just so gross to think that I am eating something when he handed me his pooped. I think i really need to work hard and really let him know that if he went popo he need to use the bathroom. i think using a diaper and just let them pooped on it makes it hard for them to realized that they should not pooped on their pants or diaper. In the philippines you can only count those kids who use diapers and as what i observe with my pamangkin the last time i visited pinas, at the age of 16 mos she already know how to use the bathroom. my boy, he is already 2 years old still he doesn't know how to tell me and at least give me some warning if he go popo so that i can bring him to the bathroom. he will inform me after he pooped on his diaper and the worst thing is he always touch his popo and really show me that he pooped because their are popo on his hands. so gross!!..ohh well this is a part of being a mother. will some mother please leave your comments here and at least share to me any tips on potty training..any tips will surely be appreciated.

Well I am talking about my Mom in law. I am just so lucky and was really blessed to have an inlaws like them. Last christmas i was asking for money as my christmas gift. well i kinda plan to save the money i get every christmas and spent it when we go to the philippines the next time or maybe if we go for a vacation as a family. So here's my mom in law at christmas morning while everybody is busy opening their gifts, she handed me the envelope that has a money in it. I was very happy to see the big amount of money in my envelope. plus she give a lot of presents to open too and a watch that i love the most. but too bad it is too big for me and i could not really wear it.
christmas afternoon, when me and my my family were so ready to hit the road back home. my mom in law handed me a white envelope and said, give this to your mother janine. This is my christmas gift to her. I was really shocked and just could not believed it. I mean I was really impressed that greg's mom remember my mom and so kind enough to share her blessing to my family in the philippines. I immidiately called my mom and informed to her what happen. of course my mom is so happy to hear the good news and was really thankful for the gift. I am really happy and just so proud of having a loving family here in texas.

The friday christmas tree..
"Mommy," six-year-old Brian* cried, as he pulled on his pajamas, "the other kids said we're going to have a Christmas tree for the house! What's a Christmas tree?"
Snug in their small bedroom at this Christian shelter for women and children, Jenny Henderson* held him and four-year-old Daniel close. "It's a beautiful tree that helps people be glad for Jesus," she said. "People decorate them at Christmas time. They buy each other presents and put under the trees."
Daniel wrinkled his nose. "What's 'decorate' mean? What's Christmas?"
Their mother sighed. All the years she had lived with the boys' father, he refused to let them celebrate anything, no matter how much she pleaded. No birthdays. No holidays. And certainly no Christmas.
So the boys had never blown out birthday candles, watched TV, decorated a Christmas tree, hung up stockings, eaten a big Christmas dinner, or opened any gifts.
When the Henderson home became so sad with all the arguing, controlling, and bossing, Jenny and the boys moved to the shelter home. Now they were free to celebrate everything, including Christmas, with the other mothers and children there.
Jenny gave him a hug. "I'll tuck you both under the covers and tell you a wonderful story about Jesus and Christmas."
She recounted the detailed story of the first Christmas night, then told them about decorating a Christmas trees, giving Christmas presents to each other, and telling God thank you for Baby Jesus.
"Wow!" Brian cried. "I want to love Baby Jesus, too. And I want to decorate a Christmas tree, too!"
"Me, too!" Daniel echoed. "Please, Mommy, please!"
Jenny laughed. "Mrs. Naples, the house manager, says we're going to have a big Christmas tree decorating party this Saturday. All the kids who live here will be able to help, including you two."
Brian and Daniel were so excited, they could hardly get to sleep. And the very first thing Daniel asked when he woke up the next morning was, "Is it Saturday yet? Can we decorate the tree yet?"
Finally, that Friday, they heard a great shout. "The tree's here!" All the children scrambled down the stairs. There at the front door three men carried the biggest, most beautiful fragrant evergreen, so big it almost stuck in the doorway. The men set it up on a stand and everyone gathered around. It almost reached the ceiling!
"Can we decorate it right now?" Daniel asked.
Mrs. Naples laughed. "No, remember it's still Friday, Daniel. We'll have our decorating party tomorrow.”
Just then she got a phone call in the office. It was the boys' father. Since Mr. Henderson had never hurt the boys, he was allowed to come to the shelter and take them out on visits. He was coming the next day to take them out for a while - right at decorating time.
The boys loved their father, of course. But they did so want to decorate their very first Christmas tree. "Please, Mrs. Naples," Brian begged, "could we put just one pretty thing on the tree tonight? Just one small decoration?"
The house manager looked at the beautiful tree. She looked at the two boys and she looked at the other children. "Well, what do you think, children?" she asked. "Would that be fair? Let's take a vote."
"Yes!" they all shouted.
A short time later, all the children helped carry, not just one little decoration, but whole boxes of them, into the living room, and set them around the waiting tree.
"All right, boys," Mrs. Naples said to Brian and Daniel. "You have an hour. During that time you may decorate to your heart's content. We won't plug anything in, but you take out anything in any of the boxes. Tomorrow while you’re gone we'll take the decorations off so the other children can have their chance putting them on. But tonight is your night."
Then she shooed the other children away and left the two boys alone.
Brian and Daniel had never been so happy in their entire lives. They picked up each shiny ball, each shimmering garland, each handful of icicles, as carefully as if they had been made of diamonds, then placed them lovingly on the tree.
A little later, Mrs. Naples stopped by to see how they were doing. All around the bottom branches - as high as little boys' arms could reach - glittered joyful ornaments of blue, red, green, gold and silver, plus loop upon loop of garlands, and handfuls upon handfuls of icicles.
But instead of standing there admiring their work, the two boys were on their knees with their eyes closed tight. Praying.
"Thank You, dear Jesus," Brian began, "for getting bornded at Christmas time. And thank You for letting us decorate Your Christmas tree. That's the bestest Christmas present I could ever get."
"Oh, and, Jesus," his little brother added, "when Daddy comes here tomorrow and sees our beautiful tree, please let Him like it and not be mad. And help him want to love You, too."
Brian thought a moment. "You're right," he agreed. "That would be the bestest Christmas present of all."
Honestly friends, this story really make me cry..i mean how can their mother do such thing to this little kids. she took away from them the meaning of christmas..if they were not sent to the shelter home, they would not know the true meaning of christmas. The kids heart were really pure and this story is really the best christmas story i ever read..hope this story will also touch your heart and will tell your kids the true meaning of christmas and why we celebrate christmas..have fun..

The kids heart were really pure and this story is really the best christmas story i ever read..hope this story will also touch your heart and will tell your kids the true meaning of christmas and why we celebrate christmas..have fun..

how open are you?
| You Are 71% Open |

elijah
I was looking at the old photos of my boy..it feels like yesterday when he was as tiny as a botton..look at the picture below..he was really small..a perfect baby for a small mother like me..he was born weighing 5.13 lbs..you can just imagine how small he is..and now he is running here and there. saying I love you to us..already know how to say what he want..very demanding and most of all a big drama king..nyahaaah..well i was just remembering the past and i do missed my son being like that, being such a cute and tiny baby..he is like a doll..,lolz..it is really true that you need to enjoy every minute, every second, all the moment you got to enjoy yourself with you kid while he/she was still a baby for they will pass in that stage once only..Though, I love my boy now that he is talking and I love seeing him running around, messing with me..try to comfort me when i cry, willingly give his kiss and hug to me and say I love you than him just sitting in his swing and bouncing chair doing nothing..I also miss those time when he is so depent to me..well he is still until now but he already know how to feed himself..he know how to get those things he want...ohh well child will really grow..
I attached his pictures below..heheehhe hmm it was a picture of first week here in the world..have fun viewing!

Elvis Was Wrong!
My lip quivered as I heard Elvis croon “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” on the car radio. Christmas was two weeks away, and this year my husband and I would be spending it alone. In August, the military sent my daughter and her husband, along with my two grandchildren, to a Navy base in Japan to serve our country. We had always shared Christmas with them, but this year our house would be empty. No one was coming home for Christmas, and I was miserable.
his was the daughter who had made me cry when I found out I was pregnant again. I fussed, fumed, and ranted at my fate. I had just given birth three months earlier to her brother, and I didn’t think I was ready for another child so soon.
Nine months later, a blonde-haired girl with blue eyes the size of saucers stole my heart. Over the years, we forged a bond tighter than Super Glue. Every year on her birthday, I thanked God for my gift.
Now, she was temporarily gone from my life. Every day was hard, and the Christmas season was excruciating. Lights, gifts, family love - they all reminded me of my daughter. Her smile lit up a room, her gift of generosity was boundless, and her love for her family and friends was immense. I missed her so much that my heart ached.
Earlier that day, my husband had phoned me at work to make sure I was coming straight home.
“Gotta get that tree tonight. Only two weeks left,” he stated solemnly.
“Sure thing, babe. We’ll go tonight,” I said, halfheartedly.
Bah, humbug! I thought. I didn’t want a tree or presents or lights or anything that reminded me I wasn’t going to share Christmas with my daughter. That night after work, I pulled into our garage and trudged into the house.
“Hi, honey, I’m home!” I yelled.
There was no answer. As I walked through the hall, I noticed a glow coming from the living room. I stepped into the room to see a fully decorated Christmas tree standing in the far corner. Sitting on the floor in front of the tree was my daughter and her family.
“Merry Christmas!” they all yelled in unison. On the couch sat my husband, grinning from ear to ear, enjoying his part in pulling off the coup.
“You didn’t think I’d miss Christmas with you, did you, Mom?” she said, jumping up to give me a giant hug. Those big blue eyes were bright with tears.
“This is the second best present ever,” I whispered, my voice choking with emotion. “The best gift was when you came into my life,” I said, squeezing her back.
The next moment I was engulfed in a group hug. The entire family joined in a heartwarming moment and a memory for many Christmases to come.
It is really nice to be with your family every christmas..well this story reminds me of home and make me wish that when that time come for elijah to get married and will leave us, He will want to come home and celebrate christmas with us
