He wants me to be happy!

That is the words that i always heard from my husband's mouth every time i ask him why he was being so good to me lately. of course I felt guilty for i think I am not being that good to him. My husband was always good to me since I arrived here in USA not only to me but to my family in the Philippines. He never fail to help them when they needed his help especially in financial matters.. but you know we sometimes have argument that will lead to a fight. most of the time it was my fault.But just recently things change. and it change for the better. I so love it. and yeah, i was trying my best to make him happy too by doing my job as a wife and a mother to my son.This statement is really true " sweeter as the years go by". I love my husband every day and my love for him grows everyday. I could not even think living my life without him. Him and elijah are my life and my happiness.I always thank God everyday, for giving me a loving husband and a loving son. Life for me with them is perfect. I could not really ask for more.

They increase it again!

I heard the news that the rice price in the philippines was increased again. boy, i felt really sorry for those people that lived in the philippines who earns a little income and not even enough to buy 1 kilo of rice. I am just so happy to know that at least my family has money to buy some rice. Imagine 39 pesos for one kilo of rice is too much for those low income people that lived in the philippines. and ohh, it is not only philippines who has a crisis when it comes to rice but also here in america. My friend said, the SAM's was out of rice. can you believed that? well the price of rice in asian store is 30 dollars per sack..grrr. maybe i will need to learn on eating pasta like macaroni and cheese.

My Mothers Day Weekend

I know there is no such thing as Mother’s day Weekend. That’s why greg always make fun of my every time I mention it to him. Actually, I keep on saying that it is my Mother’s day weekend for we start celebrating my mother’s day since yesterday. I say that because we start the activity that we plan for my Mother’s Day Celebration yesterday which is Saturday and it was ended today.

Saturday morning, we start our day with God. We went to church as a family and thank God for whole weekend that He give to us and also hubby give me the good news the other day that his boss give him a raise. So that is one thing that we should thank for. Inside the church, Elijah handed me a flower and say on his baby words “happy Mothers day”. He sounds really cute.

After Church, we immediately prepare everything for our Zoo Adventure. Bernard the guy that works for Greg will go with us with his family too. Bernard has a 3 years old daughter. So, maybe that is the reason why he decided to go with us to the zoo.

The Zoo adventure was really fun. It was not only me who enjoy the view but also my son. Kate- Bernard’s daughter and Elijah did get along very well. They talked and really understand with each other perfectly. They look so cute that I could not stop clicking my camera too. Overall, it was really a perfect family day for me.

We came home like 6 o clock in the afternoon which gives me and Greg a few minutes to get ready for my Mother’s Day Dinner date. Greg told Shelly his office mate that we will drop off Elijah before 7:30. You know, here in America, they are always on time. I took a shower and clean myself. I gave Elijah a hot bath too and have him and his stuff ready . We are not late; we arrived at Shelly’s house before 7:30. Drop off Elijah and immediately hit the road going to our favorite restaurant. We do have a peaceful and romantic dinner. The foods were great and the ambiance was so romantic. I always love to go to this Brazilian Restaurant but the price was just too much for us. So, I just get contented to be there during special occasion like Mother’s day. We end up our day with a kiss and a hug of course. I am really happy. Very happy to be able to spent time with my family and also have that wonderful date with hubby.

Sunday Morning, we get ourselves ready for the lunch date that we are going to have with my husband’s family. We are going to meet Greg’s mom and handed her our gift for mother’s day. It was indeed fun to be able to meet the family again. Elijah was having so much fun to see his grandma and grandma again and also his cousin. The lunch lasted for how many hours. We arrived home like 3 o clock which give me like 2 hours to rest before heading to my Mother’s Day party with my friends here in Denton. What a busy day, huh? Well, the party went great. The foods that Marian prepares were really yummy. I can barely breathe after eating those yummy foods that they cook for our party. I did not bring anything since I don’t know how to cook...And as usual, I am able to bring a lot of bring house. Yehey! I still have food for tomorrow! I came home exhausted and so full. It was really a fun Mother’s day celebration. it was well spent with the special people in my life including my friends!..Too bad tomorrow is not mothers day anymore. Heehaw

early mothers day from hubby..

hubby came home this afternoon with this new and cool gadget in his hand. i was not paying attention with what his bringing. all i know is that, he will bring me some yummy bbq today. I called him up before he came home and ask him to get me a BBQ. I am just not in the mode to cook. my body is still sore from the things that i was doing yesterday.

Elijah came to me with a plastic bag in his hand. My eyes grew big for it was a new digital camera. My dream digital camera. I have been asking to greg to get me a new camera and i already send him the link of the T200 sony digital camera. But he found one that is more high tech than the camera that i like. It has the same features which is touch screen but the T300 has a 10.1 mega pixels while the T200 only has 8.1 mega pixels. well i just want the T200 for it is a lot cheaper compared to the T300. but hubby bought me the T300 Sony Digital camera..boy, I am so very happy.

I did not really expect that he will still get me a New Digital Camera for mothers day. I ask him for one since last month but i change my mind when i called my mom the other week. My mom wants me to repair our house in the philippines and it will surely cost me a lot of money. i called greg and ask him if I can send money to the philippines to repair the house. and since it will cost me a lot of money, he would not buy me a digital camera for mothers day in exchange. So, instead of buying me a digital camera, he will just take me to a date for mothers day and bring elijah to the zoo after. He said yes, where in fact, he already ask Shelly his office mate to watch elijah this saturday night while me and him will have our romantic date in our favorite restaurant. I am so hopeless to get a new digital camera for mothers day and start to be contented with my old digital camera. hehehhehe..He really suprised me and i am really happy..Thank you so much Hon.. You've been so good to me and not only to me but also to my family in the philippines. I think I need to start and really try my best to not be mean to you..hehehehe

Boy, I am so really happy..lalalalala..heheheh I got a digital camera plus i got a date this coming saturday night and another family outing on sunday..I am so looking forward to it and cant wait to use my new camera..yay!

I did it!

boy, i feel like i accomplished a lot of things today. I thought i dont have much time to clean our front yard and swept our garage floor. Greg was already done arranging the stuff in our garage and now it is my turn to swept the floor to make it look really clean. Now, our garage is so clean and everything is looking good. I also manage to get rid of those unwanted plants that we have in our front yard. I want to spent my summer planting some flowers on our front yard and do something to make it look good . I still dont know the accessories that needs to put in there but boy, our front yard does look better now. I am sure it will look more good if i have to plant my flowers on it..hehehhe..I am really happy with my accomplishment today. that really makes my day Plus, my friend marian invited me for a dinner at their house and yeah the foods were really delicious. I am so full right now and so ready to go to bed.

I got a Date..

Yeah, tommorrow me and my husband will have a date..hehe nothing is special. we just want to spent time together alone without elijah. Anyway, I wanna grab this oppurtunity to thank my good friend Neda who will take care of elijah tomorrow. It is so nice to know that her kids are so excited too, the moment they know that elijah is coming to their house tomorrow. ohh well am sure elijah will have so much fun too for i know he likes being with kids.

anyway, tomorrow, me and hubby are planning to watch this cool movie Iron Man and after that maybe go out and have lunch together then pick up elijah..heheh i plan to spent the rest of my day to do some gardening and clean the garage. hay, i will just see how much time will i have tomorrow for me to do all this work that was lurking in my mind right now!

my 50 cent Dooney and Bourke purse..

This is the picture of my 50 cents dooney and bourke purse that i bought from a garage sale yesterday. I saw the purse in the corner and I thought it was just a BB purse that looks like DB purse. But when i get closer, my eyes grew big for it was really a DB purse. A cute one!.heheh i immediately grab it and never let go of it..well where in the world you can buy a cute design of DB purse for 50 cents? hehehehhe..
